組織的宣伝活動は1960年春までずっと流され続けられ、生産手段としての社会主義化はこれと平行して推し進められ、（個人の土地などの）没収は大部分完了した。

恐怖と不安を感じ多くの農民は家族と共に東ドイツを去り、西ドイツ（の食糧生産を）助けた。それは東ドイツの食糧供給不足にとってマイナス効果となった。

ウルブレヒトの国家はこれら（宣伝の為に）実際に行われた準備がひとつの集団のレベルを超えた協力体制にかかわっていた場合はいつでも、LPGSを新しい農業集団へと変換した。

この合併は、特定の作物や特定の動物類の飼育の構築に専念させられた「組合」につながった。

独断と寛容さにかけるドイツ社会主義統一党の総書記長、彼の（造った）小さなドイツソビエト国家でスターリンを見習おうと試みた、ウォルター・ウルブレヒトはさまざまなうわさによって批判され、その座を取って変わられることとなる。
