英作文の添削お願いします。

「人にものを教えるためには、教える内容の3倍以上は知っていなければならないと言われる。
というのも、どんな質問をされるかわからないからだ。
学校の先生が教科書に書いてあることしか知らなければ、
生徒の質問に答えることはできないだろう。」

It is said that you must know more than three times as many things as what you teach,
in order to teach things to people.
This is because you don't know what kind of questions students ask you.
If teachers know only things written in text books,
they can't answer the question of students.


「3倍以上は～」のあたりが特に自信がないのですが・・・。

They said "To tell a thing to the other, you must know more than three times extent of knowledge about it."

(知識の範囲ね。知識は不加算。数えられませんから）

The reason is that you might face unpredictable questions.

If all the teachers at a school understand only contents of the text books,
they could not answer any questions which students might ask.

日本語も厳密に言うと正しい日本語じゃないかもしれません。1行目の英語は意図が訳せていないと思います。後はOKですが。
1行目は私ならこうします。
It is said that you must have three times as much knowledge as you need when you teach something.

大変お上手で、私如きが直すべき所もありませんが、別の書き方もあるということだけで、、、、、、、確かに「三倍以上」なんて日本人には馴染みのない言い方で、これで[three times deeper」よいのかと目眩がしそうです(笑)(泣)
